I call this my sweet treat because it’s fantastically flavorful, refreshing, and super high in vitamin c! Vitamin c helps your body absorb minerals, protects it from chemical toxins, and has phenomenal anti-aging properties.

Peanut Maple Green Beans

Recipe: Orange Blast

Servings: 1-2

Prep Time:  10 minutes

Good For: Snack, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Cuisine: Gluten-Free, Vegan, Oil-Free

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 carrots
  • ¼ of a pineapple 
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 inch piece of turmeric
  • dash of black pepper 

Instructions:

  1. Clean veggies.
  2. Peel pineapple, lemon and orange (citrus peel tastes great in tea or hot porridge!)
  3. Cut ingredients into appropriate size for your juicer. 
  4. Add all ingredients (except black pepper) to juicer.
  5. Serve and mix in a dash of black pepper for curcumin absorption in turmeric, and enjoy!

    Notes:

    • Keeps in fridge for 3-4 days.
    • If storing, fill jar to the brim to slow oxidation.
